How to Prepare for TS TET and TS DSC
TS TET and TS DSC reward steady practice with real papers more than anything else. This plan works for both exams and for any medium.
1. Learn the pattern first
Know how many questions each section has and how much time you get: see the TS TET syllabus and exam pattern and the TS DSC exam pattern of every post.
2. Take one full previous paper as a starting test
Before studying, attempt the latest paper of your exam with the real timer: TS TET Paper 1, TS TET Paper 2 or your TS DSC post. Your section-wise score shows where to spend time.
3. Study section by section, content and method together
- Child Development & Pedagogy / Perspectives in Education: a little every day; these sections repeat the same ideas in new words.
- Languages: read one passage a day and revise grammar rules with examples.
- Content subjects: study the school textbooks of the classes your post covers, then the teaching methodology of each subject.
- DSC general knowledge: follow Telangana and national current affairs for the last year before the exam.
4. Practise shift-wise papers with a timer
Attempt one full paper or a few section tests every day. Papers of different shifts of the same exam repeat topics, so practising many shifts is the best revision. After each attempt read the explanation of every wrong answer.
5. Fix weak areas
Use the subject-wise breakdown after each paper. Practise your weakest subject on its own until it is no longer the weakest, then move to the next.
6. Keep a daily habit
On busy days, do the free Daily Sprint: 5 real exam questions in 2 minutes.
7. Last 30 days
- One full paper every second day under exam conditions.
- Revise your notes of mistakes, not new topics.
- In TS TET there is no negative marking, so answer every question.
Where these papers and answer keys come from
Each paper here is the question paper of that exam date and shift, entered from the question paper released after the exam, with questions in English and in the paper's own medium as printed. Answers follow the final answer key published by the exam authority. Where the final key gives marks to every candidate for a question (a bonus question) or accepts two options, the paper shows exactly that. Our team checks the papers against the printed booklets and corrects errors that students report. Found a mistake? Tell us through Contact and we will fix it.
Frequently asked questions
How many previous papers should I practise for TS TET?
As many shifts of your paper as you can. Each shift repeats topics in new words, so many shifts with careful review of the explanations is the best revision.
Should I study content or methodology first?
Study them together: every content section of TS TET and TS DSC also asks how to teach that subject.
Can I prepare in Telugu medium?
Yes. Papers on TG Exams show every question in English and in the paper's own medium, such as Telugu, Urdu or Hindi.
