TS DSC Exam Pattern: SGT, School Assistant, Language Pandit and PET

The TS DSC (Teacher Recruitment Test, now TG DSC) has one computer-based paper per post. The tables below are the section-wise question counts of the real DSC 2024 papers on TG Exams, so they show exactly what was asked.

Common sections

Teaching posts (SGT, School Assistant and Language Pandit) start with General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Perspectives in Education, followed by the content and teaching methodology of the post's subjects. Physical Education papers have General Knowledge, General English and physical education content. In the 2024 papers, teaching posts had 160 questions for 80 marks (half a mark per question) in 150 minutes, and Physical Education papers had 200 questions for 100 marks in 180 minutes; for posts that need TET, the TET score is added to the written test.
