TS TET exam pattern

There is no negative marking. Qualifying marks are 60% for General, 50% for BC and 40% for SC, ST and differently abled candidates. See the TS TET syllabus and exam pattern for details.

Where these papers and answer keys come from

Each paper here is the question paper of that exam date and shift, entered from the question paper released after the exam, with questions in English and in the paper's own medium as printed. Answers follow the final answer key published by the exam authority. Where the final key gives marks to every candidate for a question (a bonus question) or accepts two options, the paper shows exactly that. Our team checks the papers against the printed booklets and corrects errors that students report. Found a mistake? Tell us through Contact and we will fix it.

Where can I get TS TET previous question papers with answers?

Are TS TET and TG TET the same exam?

Yes. The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test was called TS TET and is now called TG TET. The papers on this page cover both names.

Which TS TET paper should I practise, Paper 1 or Paper 2?

Paper 1 is for teachers of classes I to V (SGT). Paper 2 is for classes VI to VIII (School Assistant), with Mathematics & Science or Social Studies. Candidates for both levels write both papers.

Are the papers available in Telugu medium?

Yes. Every question is shown in English and in the paper's own medium: Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati or Sanskrit.

Is there negative marking in TS TET?

No. Each question carries 1 mark and wrong answers lose nothing, so attempt every question.
